LITTLE ROCK - The UALR swimming and diving
team has earned Team Scholar All-American honors from the College Swimming
Coaches Association of America, it was recently announced by the organization.
The Trojans were honored for earning a cumulative GPA of 3.47 in the 2010-11
academic year.
In all, 99
Division I women's teams were honored, with UALR's 3.47 cumulative GPA equaling
Miami (OH) and Bucknell as the 15th-best GPA amongst the honorees.
The Team
Scholar All-American award is presented to college and university swimming and
diving teams who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or
higher. The award is presented to teams achieving this standard in the fall
semester and in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
