Trojans Receiving Votes in AP, Coaches Polls

LITTLE ROCK – The Little Rock men's basketball team received votes in both the AP Top 25 and USA Today Coaches polls released on Monday. The Trojans (8-0) are one of eight undefeated teams in the country.

Little Rock received votes in Monday's coaches poll for the first time this season, earning nine votes on the heels of its 66-44 win at DePaul on Saturday. The Trojans picked up 14 points in Monday's AP Top 25 Poll, up from five points a week ago.

In addition to being one of eight undefeated teams in the country, the Trojans are one of six at 8-0 or better and one of just two with a road record of 4-0 or better. Of the eight undefeated teams, only SMU (2) joins Little Rock with multiple road wins.

The Trojans are back in action Wednesday night to take on Central Arkansas in Conway. Tipoff at the Farris Center is set for 7 p.m.
