Students,
I want to take a moment to personally thank you for your support of your Little Rock Trojans this past semester. Our student support has grown exponentially the past several months and you have helped create a competitive advantage for our teams at home. I am proud to say our student attendance at soccer, volleyball and now basketball has surpassed anything I have seen during my time at the University.
You are a valued member of our team – #LittleRocksTeam. You are the heart and soul of Trojan Athletics and our student-athletes are here to represent you and the maroon and silver each time they step on the field or court.
I am also grateful to everyone who has joined the Maroon Mob. If you have not downloaded the phone app, I encourage you to do so. This is the best way to keep up with your Trojans while earning points for each game you attend. You can also check out a list of rewards, and remember the student with the most points at the end of the year will be eligible for a $1,000 scholarship for next semester.
Don't let up – we need your support when you get back to campus in January. Our teams are playing hard and your men's program is receiving national attention with their school-record 7-0 start. Coach
Chris Beard often says "Why not us?" – I encourage you to jump on board and enjoy the journey with this basketball team next semester.
