Trojans, Berger Place Fourth at Lady Red Wolf Classic

JONESBORO, Ark. – Little Rock placed fourth at the Lady Red Wolf Classic at Sage Meadows Golf Club on Tuesday. Shania Berger also placed fourth among individuals.
 
The Trojans finished with a team score of 918, just a shot-back of third-place Arkansas State. UTEP won the event with a team score of 891, followed by the Red Wolves' second team in the tournament at 911.
 
UTEP's Lily Downs placed first at 2 over par. Berger finished at 7 over after shooting a 3-over 75 on Tuesday.
 
Hannah Ward climbed seven spots on Tuesday thanks to a 1-over 73 in her final round. Ward finished the tournament at 12 over par.
 
Peyton Weaver carded a 6-over 78 in the final round to finish at 17 over and tied for 18^th place. Emelie Blennow tied for 20^th place at 18 over par.
 
Pernille Orlien and Lucy Owen finished at 25 over and 27 over, respectively.
 
The Trojans return to action when they host the Little Rock Women's Golf Classic at Diamante Country Club starting Sunday, Oct. 30.
