Trojans Start Strong at Duck Commander Intercollegiate

EL DORADO, Ark. – Little Rock is alone in third place and just five shots back of the lead through one round at the ULM-hosted Duck Commander Intercollegiate at Mystic Creek Golf Club. George Trujillo and Zach Coats are both among the top-five individuals.
 
Stephen F. Austin (294) leads the field of 10 teams at 6 over par, a shot ahead of Arkansas State (295). The Trojans (299) are followed by ULM (300) and UT Arlington (304) in fifth place.
 
Arkansas State's Tanner Napier leads all individuals at 4 under par. SFA's Blake Stock is second at 2 under par, while Little Rock's George Trujillo is tied for third place with ULM's Hogan Arey at 1 under. Trujillo totaled five birdies on the opening day.
 
Zach Coats is in a four-way tie for fifth place at 1 over par. Coats birdied four holes on the day.
 
Tyler Reynolds is tied for eighth place to give the Trojans three players in the top 10. Reynolds shot a 2-over 74 on Sunday.
 
Noah Tullos is 9 over par and Brady Edwards, competing as an individual, is 6 over par.
