HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. – Little Rock is in eighth place through 36 holes at the Little Rock Women's Golf Classic at Diamante Country Club.
Central Arkansas and UTEP are tied for first place with matching team scores of 593. UMKC and North Texas are tied for third with scores of 597.
UTEP's June Ting and UMKC's Cynthia Diaz are tied for the individual lead at 2 under par.
Emelie Blennow is the Trojans' individual leader at 5 over par. Blennow turned in a 5-over 77 on Monday and will enter the final round tied for 13
th place.
Pernille Orlien is tied for 21
st place after shooting a 4-over 76 in round two. Orlien is 7 over par through 36 holes.
Shania Berger is also 7 over par following a 5-over 77 on Monday.
Hannah Ward rebounded with a 2-over 74 in round two – the Trojans' low round of the day – and will enter the final round at 11 over.
Peyton Weaver shot an 8-over 80 in round two and is 15 over par.
Competing as individuals,
Thea Wakeford-Wesmann is 17 over par and
Lucy Owen is 20 over par.
Tuesday's final round begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
