HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. – Little Rock placed eighth and
Emelie Blennow tied for 10
th place at the Little Rock Women's Golf Classic at Diamante Country Club.

Central Arkansas took home first place honors with a team score of 891. The Bears finished six strokes better than runner-up UTEP (897). North Texas placed third with a score of 898.
UTEP's June Ting, Central Arkansas' Brenda Gonzalez and UMKC's Cynthia Diaz tied for first place at 2 over par. Missouri State's Verena Gimmy and Sam Houston State's Hannah Alberto tied for fourth place at 3 over.
Blennow paced the Trojans at 7 over par. Blennow recovered from a 5-over 77 in her second round with a 2-over 74 on Tuesday.
Shania Berger was just a shot back at 8 over par. Berger carded a 1-over 73 in the final round to finish in a tie for 14
th place.
Pernille Orlien tied for 31
st place at 14 over par.
Hannah Ward and
Peyton Weaver both finished at 25 over par.
Lucy Owen was 31 over par and
Thea Wakeford-Wesmann was 36 over.
Little Rock returns to action in February at the Texas State Invitational.
