LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock hosts University of the Ozarks on Monday at the Jack Stephens Center. The game will tip off at 6:30 p.m.

Monday is Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night at the Jack Stephens Center. All UALR faculty and staff are eligible to receive one free ticket to a level 200 seat on Monday night. Additional tickets for faculty and staff are just $5.

The Trojans topped Central Baptist 97-65 on Saturday afternoon to officially open the 2016-17 season. Little Rock finished the game shooting 55.9 percent from the floor and its 97 points were the program's most in regulation since Nov. 2011.

Kemy Osse matched his career high with 16 points and shot 4 of 6 from 3-point range.
Marcus Johnson Jr. scored 13 points and matched his career best with seven rebounds. Playing in his first Division I game,
Andre Jones scored 12 points on 4 of 5 shooting. Four more players scored nine points for the Trojans.

Monday's game will count as an exhibition for Division III-member University of the Ozarks. The Eagles, who have yet to take the court this season, are coming off of a 12-win season. The Eagles finished last year averaging 86.6 points per game while shooting 46.1 percent from the floor.

Senior Josh Berard led the American Southwest Conference in scoring at 24.0 points per game in 2015-16. Jace Richardson's 2.5 steals per game were tops in the league.
