LITTLE ROCK – After a long week on the road and nearly 5,000 miles traveled, the Little Rock women's basketball team returns to the Jack Stephens Center on Wednesday night. The Trojans, however, will be welcomed home with one of their biggest challenges of the season as they take on No. 24 Texas A&M.

Wednesday's game will hold the Thanksgiving Feast Giveaway promotion with lucky fans having the opportunity to win an entire Thanksgiving Spread. The feast will include ham from Honey Baked Ham as well as five sides for a family of six along with pumpkin pie from Catering To You. Honey Baked Ham will also giveaway eight additional hams. Little Rock will be happy to play a home game this week after playing games in three different road cities last week. The Trojans visited seven different airports and four different hotels during their travels to Green Bay, New York City and Norman, Okla. Little Rock went 0-3 on that road trip with games against Green Bay, No. 16 Oklahoma and Fordham.

At the Jack Stephens Center, though, the Trojans are a very strong team. Since the Jack Stephens Center opened for the 2005-06 season, the Trojans have an incredible home court advantage. Little Rock is 137-27 all-time at the JSC, boasting a winning percentage of .835. The Trojans have won 10 consecutive games at the Jack Stephens Center with their last home loss coming against Louisiana on January 7.

Sharde' Collins has been the Trojans' bright spot on offense this season, leading the team with 14.5 points per game. She has scored in double figures in three of the team's four contests including 15 at Fordham on Saturday morning.

Kaitlyn Pratt has been the team's top rebounder this season with 5.5 rebounds per game including 14 in the season opener against North Texas. Pratt is just one rebound away from 500 in her career. That would make her just the ninth Trojan ever to reach that mark.

Little Rock and Texas A&M will be meeting for the third consecutive year. In 2014-15, the Trojans and Aggies met in the NCAA Tournament's First Round with the No. 11 seed Trojans pulling out the upset win over the No. 6 seed Aggies. In the 2015-16 season, though, the Aggies got some revenge with a 30-point win over the Trojans in College Station, Texas.

This year's Texas A&M team was picked to finish sixth in the Southeastern Conference in the Media Poll and eighth in the Coaches Poll. Danni Williams is the team's current top scorer with 25.7 points per game. Coach Gary Blair has been with the Aggies for 14 years and won the 2011 NCAA Championship.

TIP OFF
  • Little Rock completed its participation in the Preseason WNIT on Saturday morning with a loss at Fordham. The Trojans nearly dug themselves out of a huge early hole, but Fordham recovered in the third quarter to pull away for the win.
  • Sharde' Collins has now scored in double figures in three of the Trojans' four games this year, leading the team in scoring in all three of those games.
  • Kaitlyn Pratt is one rebound away from 500 in her career.
  • Little Rock will be playing its first home game in 12 days after a 3-game road trip that included seven different airports and five different hotels.
  • The Trojans and Aggies have met each of the last two years with Little Rock winning in 2014 and Texas A&M claiming 2015's meeting.
