LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock will host UA Monticello in an exhibition game on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center. Admission is free and fans will have a chance to select their seat for 2016-17 with season tickets starting at $99.

First-year head coach Wes Flanigan returns eight lettermen, six seniors and three starters from last year's team that won Sun Belt regular-season and tournament titles and advanced to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.
 
The Trojans are picked to finish second in the Sun Belt Conference preseason coaches poll. Little Rock received one first-place vote as Marcus Johnson Jr. was picked as a Preseason All-Sun Belt First Team selection.
 
UA Monticello was recently picked to finish 12^th in the Great American Conference preseason coaches poll. The Boll Weevils went 8-20 in 2015-16 and third-year head coach Kyle Tolin welcomes 11 newcomers this season.
 
UAM dropped a 76-59 decision in an exhibition at Arkansas State on Oct. 27. Derylton Hill posted a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes.
 
The Trojans regular-season opener is set for Nov. 12 vs. Central Baptist at the Jack Stephens Center. That game will tip off at 3 p.m.
