Trojans Back in Action at All There August Challenge

LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock opens the spring season at the Texas State-hosted All There August Challenge in New Braunfels, Texas, starting Sunday, Feb. 14. The two-day event will be played at the par-71, 5,885-yard Landa Park Golf Course.

In addition to Little Rock and Texas State, the field includes Boise State, Georgia Southern, Houston Baptist, Idaho, Long Beach State, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, Sam Houston State, ULM, UTEP, UT Rio Grande Valley, UTSA and Youngstown State.
 
The first 36 holes will be played Sunday beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Monday's final round will start at 8:30 a.m.
 
The event is the first of five spring events for Little Rock before the Sun Belt Championship in Miramar Beach, Fla., April 18-20.
 
The Trojans are coming off a third-place finish at the Little Rock women's Golf Classic at Diamane Country Club to close the fall season.
 
Stina Resen tied for second place at even par, her third top-10 finish of the season. Resen, who was named the Sun Belt's Golfer of the Month for October, placed third at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate and tied for seventh place at the Blue Raider Invitational.
