Shania Berger is tied for 16
th place after a 1-under 71 in round two at the Rio Verde Invitational. As a team, the Trojans are in 13
th place heading into the final round at the Classic Club at Rio Verde Country Club.
Berger, a transfer from Jacksonville playing in just her second event as a Trojan, improved to 5 over par while climbing 36 spots on the leaderboard Saturday.
Stina Resen is tied for 27
th after shooting a 4-over 76 to sit at 7 over par for the tournament.
Sabrina Bonanno is at 10 over par following a 7-over 79 in round three.
Pernille Orlien is 12 over for the tournament while
Emelie Blennow is 19 over par.
Xavier's Hanna Lee leads the field of 96 individuals at 3 under par. Wichita State's Gavrilla Arya and Toledo's Sathika Ruenreong are tied for second place at even par.
Toledo leads the field of 18 teams with a combined score of 592. Little Rock totaled a score of 610 through two rounds and is just four shots back of the field's top 10 entering the final round.
Sunday's final round is scheduled for a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
