LR Climbs to No. 2 in College Insider Mid-Major Poll

LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock appears at No. 2 in this week's CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25, up two spots from a week ago. The Trojans earned four of the poll's 31 first-place votes.
 
This week marks Little Rock's highest appearance in the poll since climbing to No. 2 on Dec. 21.
 
Valparaiso, 20-4 on the season, sits atop the poll with 18 first-place votes. Following Little Rock is Gonzaga, Wichita State and Saint Mary's, respectively.
 
The Trojans, winners of six straight, are tied with Xavier for the best record in the nation at 21-2. Little Rock continues to lead the country in scoring defense and currently ranks fifth in defensive field goal percentage.
 
With its win over South Alabama on Saturday, Little Rock became just the second team in the history of the Sun Belt Conference to win 21 of 23 games to start a season.
 
Undefeated at the Jack Stephens Center, Little Rock is second nationally with nine true road victories.
 
The Trojans return to action with a pair of road games this week. Little Rock is at ULM on Thursday night for facing Louisiana on Saturday.
