Trojans Conclude Action at Border Olympics

Results

LAREDO, Texas – Little Rock finished play at the Houston-hosted Border Olympics at Laredo Country Club on Saturday. Originally scheduled as a 54-hole event, the tournament was shortened to 36 holes due to inclement weather.
 
The Trojans placed 16th in the field with a team score of 591. Baylor placed first with a team score of 556, followed by host Houston (564) in second place.
 
Matias Calderon finished at even par to lead the Trojans and tie for 29th place overall. George Trujillo ended the event at 3 over par to tie for 52nd place. Beau Hanson and Tyler Reynolds both finished at 6 over par.
 
Louisiana's Haraldur Magnus finished at 10 under par to capture individual medalist honors. Four players tied for second place at 7 under.
 
Little Rock returns to action with the Lone Star Invitational on Monday, March 21.
