Trojans Conclude Action at Border Olympics

Results

LAREDO, Texas – Little Rock finished play at the Houston-hosted Border Olympics at Laredo Country Club on Saturday. Originally scheduled as a 54-hole event, the tournament was shortened to 36 holes due to inclement weather.
 
The Trojans placed 16^th in the field with a team score of 591. Baylor placed first with a team score of 556, followed by host Houston (564) in second place.
 
Matias Calderon finished at even par to lead the Trojans and tie for 29^th place overall. George Trujillo ended the event at 3 over par to tie for 52^nd place. Beau Hanson and Tyler Reynolds both finished at 6 over par.
 
Louisiana's Haraldur Magnus finished at 10 under par to capture individual medalist honors. Four players tied for second place at 7 under.
 
Little Rock returns to action with the Lone Star Invitational on Monday, March 21.
