Trojans Place Second at ORU/SFA Invite

DALLAS, Texas – Little Rock placed second at the Oral Roberts/Stephen F. Austin Spring Break Invitational after posting a combined score of 892 at Trophy Club CC. Shania Berger placed second after falling in a playoff to Houston Baptist's Giorgia Carletti.
 
Little Rock finished just a stroke back of winner Houston Baptist (891) and a stroke in front of co-host and third-place finisher Oral Roberts (893). The Trojans posted the low score of the top-three teams on Tuesday to climb into second place.
 
Berger finished at 6 over par following a 4-over 75 in Tuesday's final round. Carletti, who posted a 1-over 71 Tuesday, parred the playoff hole while Berger bogeyed.
 
Sabrina Bonanno tied for fourth place at 8 over par. Stina Resen finished at 21 over par while Peyton Weaver ended the event at 26 over par.
 
The Trojans will host the Little Rock/Arkansas State Women's Golf Invitational starting Monday, March 28.
