LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock and Arkansas State will co-host the Little Rock/Arkansas State Women's Golf Invitational starting Monday. The event will be played for the second straight year at Maumelle Country Club's par-72, 6,133-yard layout.

The tournament begins with 36 holes and an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Monday. Another 8:30 a.m. shotgun start kicks off the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

In addition to Little Rock and Arkansas State, the field includes Central Arkansas, Missouri State, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, UTEP, Wichita State and Xavier.

Little Rock took second place at last year's event, falling in a playoff to Central Arkansas after making up a seven-stroke deficit in the final round.
Hannah Ward placed second and
Sabrina Bonanno tied for fifth place overall.
