LITTLE ROCK – The Trojan track and field teams are in for a busy weekend, as the group will be splitting into two groups and competing at two meets in California and one in Arkansas.

One group will head west, getting set to compete at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays on Friday and the Beach Invite hosted by Long Beach State on Saturday. The other group will stay closer to home, heading to Conway to take on the Central Arkansas Open.

Friday and Saturday's California events will be a showcase for the Trojans against some of the best track athletes in the country.

At the Beach Invite on Saturday, Charles, Dupeh, Francois, Hicks and
Dylan Wood will race for the Trojans. Francois and Hicks are the reigning Sun Belt Conference Track Student-Athletes of the Week.

Little Rock is coming off a very strong weekend at its home meet. Francois won both men's hurdles events while the men brought home five top-10 finishes in all events. On the women's side, the Trojans had a new school record set in the 4x100 relay, got five event wins and set seven new top-10 marks in school history.
The team will look to carry that success over to California and UCA on Friday and Saturday.
Following this weekend, Little Rock will gear up for its next competition at the Memphis Invitational. That will take place two weekends later on April 30.
