Methuselah Lagat and
Isaac Lalang ran their way into the Trojan record book on Saturday, recording top-10 times in program history in the 3K steeplechase to highlight Little Rock's participation in the Memphis Invitational.

While those were the only top-10 marks in school history on the day, Little Rock posted seven total finishes in the top 10 of events on the day at Memphis.

Lagat came in second place – the Trojans' highest finish of the day – with a time of 9:22.61 while Lalang was third in 9:30.69. Lagat's time was good for the seventh-best in the history of the Little Rock track and field program. Lalang's time was also in the top 10 in school history, putting him ninth all time.

In the 100,
Dylan Wood was the top Trojan finisher with a time of 10.97 seconds for eighth place.
Kendrick Dunn was right behind him in 11.14 seconds.
Terance Goodwin also made the top 15, taking 13th place in 11.28 seconds. Wood was again in the top 10 in the 200, placing ninth in 22.09 seconds. Dunn came in 13th in 22.32.

In the 400, Michael Perry finished eighth in 49.55 seconds.

The 800 meter race saw
Kenneth Broyles compete for the Trojans. He came in 33rd place, crossing the finish line in 2:05.36.

Desmond Gulley took ninth in the long jump, reaching 6.71 meters.
Nghia Dinh was 16th with a distance of 5.92 meters.

Little Rock has next weekend off, but it will be back in action at its biggest meet of the season on May 13-15. That's when the Trojans travel to Lafayette, La., to take on the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship.
