Matias Calderon has been named to the Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America recently announced.

To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I, 78.0 in Division II, 77.0 in NAIA and 79.0 in Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.

Calderon recently concluded his senior season with the Trojans. He picked up All-Sun Belt Conference honors for the second time in his career after ranking eighth in the league in score vs. par (0.83). The Santiago, Chile, native totaled seven top-20 finishes and four top-10 finishes on the year. He averaged 72.43 strokes over 11 events on the season.

Calderon graduated in May with a degree in Business Management, boasting a cumulative GPA of 3.37.
