Contact Coach Blewitt

LITTLE ROCK – To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the beginning of the program, the Little Rock soccer team will be hosting its Anniversary Weekend on August 19-21 to coincide with the team's 2016 season opener against Northwestern State.

All former Trojan men and women soccer players are invited to attend the festivities that will coincide with the department's #CrowdColeman game for the season.

All alumni will be honored on the field at halftime of the game at approximately 7:45 p.m. to kick off the fun-filled weekend for former Trojans.

At the Coleman Sports & Recreation Complex, fans and soccer alums will be able to watch their Trojans open their season against the Demons and enjoy cuisine from food trucks in attendance. Food trucks currently signed up to attend include Fork in the Road, Hot Rod Wieners, Little Penguin Tacos, and Loblolly Creamery.

On August 20, alumni will get the opportunity to watch the 2016 team train and get to speak with the team. Former Trojans will then have lunch at the Bailey Alumni Center, take a campus tour with the coaching staff and players, have a banquet dinner at the Jack Stephens Center and have a fun evening in Little Rock with their fellow alumni.

On August 21, alumni will also have the opportunity to watch the team's second game of the season as it takes on Central Arkansas in nearby Conway.

RSVPs for the Anniversary Weekend are due on July 19, and interested former Trojans should contact coach Adrian Blewitt at alblewitt@ualr.edu or call at 501.569.3452.

A block of rooms at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Little Rock has been reserved at the rate of just $99 per night. Reservations should be made under "UALR Soccer Alumni." The Doubletree can be reached by phone at 501.372-4371.
