Tullos Wins ASGA Match Play Championship

MAUMELLE, Ark. – Little Rock's Noah Tullos won the 2016 Arkansas State Golf Association Match Play Championship on Sunday at Maumelle Country Club. Tullos bested teammate Zach Coats 2 and 1 in the final.
 
Sunday's play included the semifinals and finals after all-day rain allowed for just the quarterfinals on Saturday. Tullos beat Beau Glover and Coats topped Stan Payne in the semifinals, which started at 9 a.m.
 
Both players played well in the finals, as Tullos shot 7 under par and Coats shot 4 under.
 
Tullos and Coats are set to begin their senior seasons for the Trojans in 2016-17.
