LITTLE ROCK – Head coach
Wes Flanigan has announced the additions of
Brandon Brady and
Kanaan Jackson for the 2016-17 season.

Brady served as a student manager on Little Rock's 2015-16 team after playing seasons at Eastern Oklahoma State (2013-14) and Lyon College (2014-15).

Brady played two years of basketball at Pulaski Academy in Little Rock, helping the team to a state runner-up finish and 28-2 record as a junior. As a senior, he averaged 23 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals while earning All-State and All-Conference honors. Off the court, he was an honor roll student and graduated with a 3.5 GPA.

Jackson spent the 2015-16 season at Arkansas Baptist under head coach Charley Ripley – Flanigan's high school head coach – where he averaged 12 points and eight rebounds per game to lead the Buffaloes to a 28-4 overall record and No. 8 national ranking. He boasted a 3.6 GPA and was a member of the honor roll.

He played the 2014-15 season for head coach Scott Edgar at Eastern Oklahoma State.

Jackson played his high school basketball at Jacksonville High School for head coach Victor Joyner, where he averaged 17 points and eight rebounds. Jackson was an All-State and All-Conference selection and helped lead his team to a 2014 State Championship.Â
