LITTLE ROCK – In its final regular-season meet, Little Rock's cross country teams will host the Little Rock Invitational on Saturday morning at Rebsamen Golf Course. The men's 8K race will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed by the women's 5K race at 10:45 a.m.

The Trojans will compete against Arkansas State, Arkansas Tech (women only), UAPB, Central Arkansas, Central Baptist, Henderson State (women only), John Brown, LeMoyne-Owen, Lyon, Oral Roberts, University of the Ozarks, Philander Smith and Williams Baptist.

Isaac Lalang comes into this weekend's race as the two-time champion of the Little Rock Invitational. Last year, Lalang crossed the finish line with a time of 25:08.8 and finished 21 seconds faster than second place. Junior
Imad Amenzou finished fifth with a time of 25.38.7 as Little Rock placed second among Division I schools.

On the women's side, senior
Tyler Kelly is the Trojans' top returner as she finished 26th last season with a time of 21:00.8. The Trojans placed third among Division I schools last year.

Saturday's meet will be the final regular-season meet for Little Rock as the Trojans will have two weeks to prepare for the Sun Belt Conference Championship in Boone, North Carolina, on Oct. 28.
