LITTLE ROCK – For the third consecutive year, Little Rock's
Isaac Lalang won the men's 8K at the Little Rock Invitational on Saturday morning at Rebsamen Golf Course.

The race consisted of 87 runners with 11 teams present. The Division I schools competed against each other in a dual format while the non-D1 schools competed against each other in a traditional format.

Little Rock won all four of its duals against UPAB (15-41), Oral Roberts (15-46), Central Arkansas (27-28) and Arkansas State (20-35).

Lalang finished the race with a time of 24:20.55 and averaged 3:02.6 per kilometer. He finished 1:29.38 faster than second place.

Emilio Medina,
Imad Amenzou and
Rogelio Araiza finished sixth through eighth with times of 26:21.91, 26:24.44 and 26:44.58, respectively.

Tyler Davis was the fifth Trojan to finish in the top 10 as he placed 10th with a time of 26:55.17.

Noah Smith took 40th with a time of 29:26.64 while
Hunter Tucker finished 46th with a time of 30:21.37.
Jarred O'Connor wrapped it up for Little Rock as he finished 54th with a time of 31:20.46.

With the regular season now over, Little Rock will turn its attention to the Sun Belt Conference Championship in two weeks in Boone, North Carolina.
