LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock opened up their dual-meet action a with loss to North Texas 183-106 as they debuted in front of their home fans at the Donaghey Aquatic Center Saturday afternoon.

In the second event of the meet,
Tori Fryar would take a first place finish with a time of 10:29.32 in the 1000-yard freestyle leading the Trojans in their best event of the night.
Claire Bristow and
Lily Kerr would take third and fourth place in the heat given Little Rock a combined 11 points between the three.

Sam Gray came out with another impressive performance earning 237.83 points in the one-meter dive, taking first place and nine points for the Trojans.

Tori Fryar had another good showing taking second place in the 500-yard freestyle with a 5:04.37 finish time, followed by
Claire Bristow in fourth with a 5:16.08 time to earn points.

In the 100-yard breaststroke,
Palmer Ristroph would earn a second place finish with
Imre van Huyssteen taking fourth and
Nuria Gallego Murcia taking fifth, adding another seven points to the Trojans' total.

Laura Ruiz Astorga would earn a third place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with a finish time of 2:10.26.

The Trojans would earn max points in the 3-meter dive, the 400 individual medley, and 400-yard freestyle relay as North Texas would exhibition their swimmers in the events.

Little Rock returns to the Donaghey Aquatic Center next week as they host the Little Rock Invitational on Saturday Oct. 21 with events starting at 10 a.m.
