Rival Arkansas State (No. 46) and Illinois State (No. 99) both sit among the nation's top-100 with Houston Baptist (No. 129), UT Arlington (132), Central Arkansas (No. 134) and Dayton (No. 136) joining Little Rock (No. 133) among the top-150. Stephen F. Austin (No. 158), Seton Hall (No. 168) and Bradley (No. 199) round out the team field while reigning national champion Oklahoma will send four individuals to compete as well.

Trojan Lineup
Head coach Jake Harrington will go with a new combination for his scorecard this week, a lineup that consists of two juniors, a sophomore and two freshmen.

Tournament History
Continuing with an over 20-year tradition, this week's event at Chenal Country Club marks the 25th event hosted by Little Rock as the tournament dates back to 1994. Formerly known as the First Tee Classic, the Trojans have performed well in the event, winning the tournament seven times and enter as the reigning champions, shooting an 856 earlier this year. Lamar holds the record for the lowest team score, carding an 832 in 2007, with Missouri's Stuart Ballingall holding the individual low score of 201, set in 2010.

Weather Forecast
Weather reports show what could be shaping up to be an ideal tournament weather-wise for a late October event. Sunday's practice round could be affected by heavy rains, but Monday and Tuesday should be much better. Monday's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies and a high of 73 with winds gusting to 13 mph, while Tuesday should be sunny with a high of 69 but stronger winds, gusting to 21 mph.

Last Time Out
Little Rock placed 10th at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic in Pearland, Texas, on October 10. The Trojans posted a 21-over 885, including a 3-over 291 in round one and an 8-over 294 in round three for its third top-10 finish of 2017-18. Little Rock was led by George Scanlon's even-par 216, tying for 14th overall, while Justin Warren's 2-under 70 in round three was the low round of the event for the Trojans as he tied for 28th overall at 4-over 220.

Going Low
Through the first three events of the 2017-18 season, Little Rock has shown its ability to reach the low rounds. Trojan golfers have posted 16 rounds of par-or-better this season, led by five from junior George Scanlon, who holds the individual low round of 67. Junior Justin Warren has notched four round of par-or-better with sophomore Logan Pate and freshman Aaron Ramos each carding three apiece.

Looking Ahead
Little Rock closes out the fall portion of its 2017-18 schedule next week, competing in the Duck Commander Intercollegiate. Hosted by Louisiana-Monroe, the tournament will be held Sunday, October 29 through Tuesday, October 31 at Mystic Creek Golf Course in El Dorado, Arkansas.
