Greulich Picks Up Second Sun Belt Weekly Honor

LITTLE ROCK – For the second time this season, sophomore Doro Greulich has been named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week, announced today by league officials.

Greulich notched three goals in a pair of Little Rock road wins over the weekend, helping the Trojans secure a postseason berth in the process. Greulich notched a goal in the Trojans' 3-1 win at Georgia Southern, then registered a pair of tallies in the 3-1 win at Georgia State, including the game-winner in the 46th minute. It was the second multi-goal game of the season for the Potsdam, Germany native, second only to her hat trick at Murray State on September 8, which led to her first conference honor.

Greulic leads the Trojans and is tied for third in the Sun Belt Conference with eight goals on the year as her 17 points ranks seventh in the league. She is second in the Sun Belt in shots at 51, putting 24 on goal.

The effort helped Little Rock pick up six crucial points in the Sun Belt standings over the weekend and assuring the Trojans a spot in the conference tournament in Foley, Alabama, November 1-5. But first up for Little Rock is the make-up game at league-leading South Alabama on Friday, October 27, getting underway at 7 p.m. The game was rescheduled from October 8 due to Hurricane Nate affecting the Alabama coast.
