Gray Earns MVC Diver of the Week Award

LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock's Swimming and Diving Samantha Gray earned her first Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week Award of the 2017-2018 season, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
 
Gray competed this last weekend in the Little Rock Invitational where she placed first in the three-meter dive and second in the one-meter dive. In the three-meter diver, she earned her best score of the year with a 248.35, a 30+ point jump from last week's 215 score in the dual versus North Texas. She matched the 248.35 in the one-meter as well which earned her a second-place and saw a seven-point improvement from the week before.
 
This is Gray's seventh career MVC Diver of the Week Award. She earned three in each of the past two seasons for Little Rock.
 
Little Rock competes next in the Saint Louis Double Dual on Nov. 3 at 5 p.m.
