Isaac Lalang earned a fourth-place finish at the 2017 Sun Belt Cross Country Championship on the campus of Appalachian State on Saturday.

The men's 8K race featured 70 runners from 10 Sun Belt Conference schools.

Lalang crossed the finish line with a time of 25:17.1

Sophomore
Emilio Medina was Little Rock's next finisher as he placed 41st with a time of 27:07.9. Senior
Imad Amenzou took 48th with a time of 27:20.4, and junior
Rogelio Araiza finished 50th with a time of 27:41.5.

Freshman
Hunter Tucker came in 58th with a time of 28.10.0. Sophomore
Noah Smith took 69th with a time of 29:19.5, and sophomore
Tyler Davis finished 70th with a time of 30:04.6.

As a team, Little Rock finished ninth with 201 points. Appalachian State won the team championship with 70 points while UT Arlington and Texas State took second and third with 73 and 75 points, respectively. Coastal Carolina's Nadeel Wildschutt earned the individual championship with a time of 24:44.3.
