While sitting further down the team leaderboard than they would like, Little Rock has a chance to make a run in round two as just five shots separate 10 teams. The Trojans are tied with Oral Roberts in 10th, two shots ahead of 12th-place Arkansas State (20-over 308) and one shot behind ninth-place Stephen F. Austin (17-over 305).
Sam Houston State holds the team lead at 10-over 298, three shots better than both Jacksonville State and Missouri State (13-over 301). Central Arkansas (14-over 302) is fourth with both Houston Baptist and UTEP (15-over 303) tied for fifth and Utah Valley and UT Arlington (16-over 304) knotted up in a seventh-place tie.
The teams are hopeful round two will get underway without an hour-long frost delay, which altered the start times in round one as temperatures overnight were in the upper 20s. Little Rock will play with Oral Roberts and Arkansas State in the second round pairings, teeing off from 10:40 to 11:20 from hole 10. Live scoring of the Little Rock Golf Classic is available at
