New date set for Trojans' game at South Alabama

LITTLE ROCK - It has been confirmed that Little Rock's match against South Alabama will be played on Friday, October 27 at 7 p.m. in Mobile, Alabama.

The matchup, which was supposed to be played this previous Sunday, was postponed due to the possible impacts Hurricane Nate was having on the US Gulf Coast Region. After officially releasing on Saturday that the game would not be played, Trojan Athletic Director Chasse Conque and South Alabama Athletic Director Joel Erdmann worked tirelessly with Sun Belt Conference officials to agree on a date and location for the matchup.

The weekend of the 27th was supposed to be an off weekend for teams as they were to prepare for the up-coming conference tournament which begins that next Wednesday, November 1st. The changes now give Little Rock three away games to close out the regular season where the Trojans are still seeking their first road win on the year going 0-6-0 away from Little Rock thus far. The Trojans sit at 1-2-2 in the Sun Belt Conference with five points, leaving them in ninth place where there are only eight spots for the tournament.
