JONESBORO, Ark. – Little Rock's women's track and field team notched a relay victory in the indoor season opener at the A-State Kickoff Klassic on Sunday at FNB Arena.

Brandi Allen,
Ka Neisha Jackson,
Helensia Green and
Christina Nickerson won the 4 x 400-meter relay as they came in with a time of 3:56.94 — 10th-fastest in program history.

In the women's 400 meter,
Helensia Green finished fourth with a time of 1:00.09.

Vianney Sanchez was the Trojans' top finisher in the women's 3000-meter run as she placed fifth with a time of 10:51.50.
Hunter Paul finished sixth with a time of 10:52.66, and
Hannah Manning came in 10th with a time of 11:05.31.

Christina Nickerson was the Trojans' top finisher in the women's 200 meter as she placed sixth with a time of 25.73.
Brittany Pinder-Jones was the Trojans' other top-10 finisher as she came in ninth with a time of 25.97.
Jessica Gray and
Ka Neisha Jackson placed 13th and 14th with times of 26.23 and 26.36, respectively.
Brandi Allen and
Nicole Edison came in 18th and 21st with times of 26.84 and 27.45, respectively.

In the women's high jump,
Dasia Harris finished 11th with a mark of 1.44 meters — 10th-best in program history.

In the women's triple jump,
Tyra Gillam finished 12th with a mark of 9.74 meters.
Akeia Joyner finished 13th in the women's 800 meter with a time of 2:37.07.

In the women's long jump,
Jessica Gray and
Dasia Harris finished 14th and 15th with marks of 4.85 and 4.84, respectively.

Little Rock will now have over a month before its next meet at the Samford Clash on Jan. 20 in Birmingham, Alabama.
