Trojans Through Round One at Texas State Invitational

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – Little Rock is in 12^th place after one complete round at the Texas State Invitational. The Trojans posted a team score of 315 in the opening round and round two was suspended Monday evening due to darkness.
 
Georgia Southern, UTSA and Central Arkansas are tied for the lead after posting team scores of 295. Texas State and SFA are tied for fourth place at 301.
 
Central Arkansas' Brenda Gonzalez is alone in first place at 5 under par. Houston's Leonie Harm is in second place at 1 under par.
 
Shania Berger is tied for 13^th place after shooting a 3-over 74 in round one. Emelie Blennow carded a 6-over 77 and is tied for 34^th place. Sabrina Bonanno carded a 10-over 81 and Pernille Orlien turned in a 12-over 83.
 
Round two resumes Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
