LITTLE ROCK – The Little Rock men's and women's basketball teams' seeds are set for the 2017 Sun Belt Men's and Women's Basketball Championships, presented by First Bank and Trust, at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, La. The women's tournament begins Tuesday, March 7 and the men's tournament begins Wednesday.

Each game of the women's tournament will be carried on ESPN3. Every game of the men's tournament will also be on ESPN3, except for the Championship Game set for broadcast on ESPN2.

The Little Rock men's basketball team will be the No. 10 seed at the Sun Belt Tournament and will open play at 5 p.m. on Wednesday against No. 7 seed Louisiana.

The Trojans will be the third game of the day on Wednesday. A win would send Little Rock into Friday with a matchup against No. 2 seed Georgia State.

Little Rock finished the regular season with 15-16 overall record. The Trojans won back-to-back games against Georgia Southern and South Alabama before falling to Troy in the regular-season finale.

After finishing the regular season with a 23-7 record and reaching the 20-win mark for the 10th time in 11 seasons, the Trojan women earned the conference's regular-season championship and the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. Little Rock earned a first-round bye in the tournament and will play its first game on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Lakefront Arena on ESPN3. Little Rock will face either No. 8 seed Coastal Carolina or No. 9 seed Appalachian State in that game. The Chanticleers and Mountaineers will play in the tournament's first round on Tuesday morning.

A victory in that quarterfinal game would send Little Rock to the tournament semifinals on Saturday at 5 p.m. on ESPN3. The Trojans could face the No. 4 seed Texas State, the No. 5 seed Louisiana or the No. 12 seed ULM in that game.

One more win would put the Trojans through to the championship game for the third consecutive season. The championship game will be held on Sunday at 5 p.m. on ESPN3.

Trojan fans are encouraged to go to the Sheraton Metairie on Thursday, March 9 at 5 p.m. for Little Rock Trojan Happy Hour. Trojan fans, alumni, parents and friends are welcome for free refreshments. RSVP here.
