Meet Information
Live Results

LITTLE ROCK – After spending a week in two different time zones and four different meets, the Little Rock track and field team will be united in one location this weekend: The ASU Red Wolf Open in Jonesboro on Friday and Saturday.

This will be the Trojans' third trip to Arkansas State this academic year after two meets at the Convocation Center during the indoor season. The Red Wolf Open, however, will be held at the nearby Arkansas State Track Facility outdoors.

Live results will be available online through halfmiletiming.com.

Action is set to begin on Friday afternoon with the long jump at 4 p.m. On the track, the 200-meter races will be held at 5:45 p.m. and the 5K races will follow at 6:10 p.m.

On Saturday, the meet continues with more field events beginning at 10:30 a.m. The track heats up at noon with the 4x100 relays. The remainder of the track events will run through 4 p.m., as the meet will conclude with the 4x400 relays at that point.

Last week, Little Rock got a new school record in the 400-meter hurdles from Tyler Kelly. The senior broke the 3-year-old school record with a time of 1:01.85, the fourth-best time in the Sun Belt this season. Anika Charles also ran a season best in the 400 at the Mt. SAC Relays on Thursday, racing to a Sun Belt-best time of 53.85 seconds at that meet.

On the men's side last weekend, Kennedy Chumba won two races in California, taking the 5K crown at the Beach Invitational in 14:43.66, the sixth-best time in the league this year. Chumba also won the 1500 at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate on Thursday.

When Little Rock has completed its weekend in Jonesboro, the Trojans will prepare to end their regular season next weekend at the Memphis Invitational hosted by the Memphis Tigers on April 28-29.
