Trojans' Series Opener Against Louisiana Postponed

LITTLE ROCK – Due to incoming inclement weather, Friday night's Little Rock baseball game against Louisiana has been postponed. A doubleheader will be now be played on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.

Saturday will mark the third straight year in which Little Rock and Louisiana have played a doubleheader. Last year, the Trojans and Cajuns split a Saturday doubleheader in Lafayette, Louisiana, before Little Rock won the series finale to take the series. In 2015, Little Rock swept both games in a Sunday doubleheader to win the rain-shortened series.

Little Rock has already played in two doubleheaders this season, both at home.

Little Rock's Student-Athlete Advisory Council will also be on hand to collect non-perishable food items for UA Little Rock's Trojan Food Pantry. Any fan who brings a non-perishable food item will receive discounted admission.

Youth Baseball Day has been extended to include Saturday's doubleheader and Sunday's series finale. Any youth baseball player that comes to the game wearing their team's jersey will receive free admission. Coaches and parents may purchase a ticket for as low as $6.
