Tullos Advances to U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying

LITTLE ROCK – Former Trojan Noah Tullos recently advanced to U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying, set for Monday, June 5 at a location that is still to be determined.
 
Tullos moved on thanks to a 3-under 69 in the local qualifying tournament at Hot Springs Country Club, Arlington Course on Tuesday, May 9.
 
Tullos was even par on the front nine and 3 under on the back, birdying hole No. 10 before recording an eagle on the par-5 18th.
 
Tullos' score placed him in a tie for third among 78 competitors. He is one of five individuals at the Hot Springs location to move onto sectional qualifying.
 
Sectional qualifying over 36 holes will be conducted at 12 sites – 10 in the United States and two overseas – for the 117^th U.S. Open Championship at Erin Hills in Erin, Wis. The 10 U.S. sites will conduct sectional qualifying on June 5.
