MANHATTAN, Kan. – Senior Sabrina Bonanno carded the second-lowest round of the day Monday, shooting a 2-under 72 to vault to sixth in the individual standings. Her effort kept Little Rock in seventh-place among the team standings, matching its opening round total of 21-over 309.

Beginning on hole four following an extended lightning delay, Bonanno raced out to a fast start with birdies on holes four and five as the senior then went even over the next nine holes. The highlight of her day came with an eagle on the par-four 15th hole, putting Bonanno at 4-under for the day, before closing out round two with the 2-under 70, the second-lowest round of her Trojan career.

The effort vaulted Bonanno into sixth place in the team standings, moving up 16 spots from her opening round placing. She leads teammate Emelie Blennow by four strokes as Blennow registered a 3-over 75, sitting tied for 17th overall with a 7-over 151.

Shania Berger was the third Trojan to post a score in the 70s Monday, finishing with a 5-over 77 to hold a tally of 11-over 155 through 36 holes and sit tied for 29th overall. Entering the day in seventh place, Little Rock held its ground with a second-straight 309, giving the Trojans a 36-hole tally of 42-over 618. The Trojans hold a six stroke lead on eighth-place Central Arkansas (48-over 624) but lost ground to both Arkansas State and North Texas as the pair is tied for fifth overall with a 29-over 605.

Host Kansas State remains in the lead at 7-over 583, holding a comfortable 13-shot lead on second-place Rutgers (20-over 596). Kansas (23-over 599) is third with Tulsa (24-over 600) fourth, five shots ahead of the Red Wolves and Mean Green in the fifth-place tie.

Tuesday's final round gets underway with an 8 a.m. shotgun start as the Trojans will play with a familiar face, pairing up with Central Arkansas in the final round pairings. The Trojans and Bears will begin on holes 11 through 14 with live stats available at Golfstat.com.
