Hayworth Up For Construction Intern of the Year

Vote for Harrison Here

LITTLE ROCK – Former Little Rock soccer player Harrison Hayworth is in the running for the Construction Intern of the Year, sponsored by Heavy Construction Systems Specialists. Fans can vote once a day until October 3 by following the link at https://cia.hcss.com/2017-entries/harrison-hayworth/.

Hayworth played two seasons for the Trojans, playing in 18 games with four starts for the Trojans in 2016. She registered a pair of goals and an assist, notching goals against Memphis and Kansas State. The Kansas City, Missouri native retired from the sport following the 2016 season due to health issues.

Following her time on the pitch, Hayworth turned her attention to the possibilities available in the construction industry. She helped pioneer the first ASCE concrete canoe at Little Rock, competing in the ASCE Deep South competition last spring. That helped lead to an internship this summer in Dallas, Texas, working with Austin Bridge and Road.

The Construction Intern scholarship program, sponsored by HCSS, is designed to recognize the strongest construction interns in the industry as well as the companies with the best construction internships across the country. Voting is open until Tuesday, October 3, with fans able to cast one vote per day.
