GREENVILLE, N.C. – Little Rock closed out the opening two rounds of the Pirate Collegiate Classic sitting 16th among the 17-team field after 36 holes. The Trojans posted a 26-over 314 in round one, then shaved one stroke off that total for a 25-over 313 in Monday's afternoon round.

Little Rock was led once again by senior Sabrina Bonanno, who sits among the individual top-20 after a 5-over 149, tied for 16th overall. Bonanno opened the day with a 1-over 73, then registered a 4-over 76 in the afternoon round as she seeks her third-straight top-20 finish to start the 2017-18 season.

Junior Emelie Blennow sits second among the Trojan scorecard with a 12-over 156, shooting a 9-over 81 in round one before a team-best 3-over 75 in round two. Blennow leads fellow junior Lucy Owen by four strokes following Owen's 16-over 160, posting a 79-81 on day one.

Sophomore Thea Wakeford-Wesmann (19-over 163) and senior Pernille Orlien (22-over 166) round out the Little Rock scorecard, as Wakeford-Wesmann shot an 82-81 on the day with Orlien adding an 81-85.

Little Rock will have an opportunity to make a move up the leaderboard over Tuesday's final round as the Trojans are three shots back of USC-Beaufort (48-over 624) and are five shots back of both Gardner-Webb and Longwood (46-over 622). Charleston Southern and UNC Asheville are both within sight as well as the duo posted a 44-over 620 to sit tied for 11th.

Host East Carolina holds the team lead after 36 holes at 3-over 579, four shots ahead of second-place Western Kentucky (7-over 583). Towson (16-over 592), Winthrop (24-over 600) and Sun Belt foe South Alabama (25-over 601) round out the top-five.

The Trojans' final round begins Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. CT as the Trojans will play with The Citadel and a group of individuals in the final round. Live scoring is available at Golfstat.com.
