Women's Division I 10K Results
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Junior transfer
Shanieke Watson put up the sixth-best 5K time in school history as she led the Little Rock women's cross country team at the Chile Pepper XC Festival on Saturday morning.
The 5K collegiate field included 381 runners from 45 teams while the Division I competition consisted of 91 runners from 10 teams.
Watson finished 20th with a time of 17:40.6 and earned Little Rock 17 points. Among Division I runners, Watson was ninth and picked up nine points.
Freshman
Vianney Sanchez took 74th with a time of 18:29.2 and earned 68 points. Her time was 29th among Division I runners and earned the Trojans 28 points.
Freshman
Hannah Manning came in with a time of 18:59.1 as she placed 114th and tallied 103 points. She finished 49th in the Division I field and earned 43 points.
Hunter Paul took 131st with a time of 19:09.9 and picked up 117 points. Her time was 57th among Division I competition and gave Little Rock 49 points.
Freshman
Kim Boni and senior
Tyler Kelly were the final Trojans to cross the finish line as they finished a minute apart with times of 20:35.1 and 21:35.0, respectively.
Of the 45 collegiate teams, Little Rock finished 17th with 501 points. Among the 10 Division I teams, the Trojans took eighth with 189 points.
The Trojans will finish up their regular-season schedule on Oct. 14 as they host the Little Rock Invitational at Rebsamen Golf Course.
