LITTLE ROCK – With a 4-0 start in Sun Belt Conference play, Little Rock women's basketball (7-8, 4-0 Sun Belt) will look to continue its perfect start against preseason-favorite UT Arlington (8-7, 2-2 Sun Belt) on Thursday at 5 p.m., at the Jack Stephens Center.
 
Thursday will be Benton Night at the Jack Stephens Center as the Trojans honor the city of Benton.
 
The Trojans have an all-time record of 7-2 against the Lady Mavericks. UTA won the first two meetings in 2004 and 2006, but since moving to the Sun Belt for the 2013-14 season, Little Rock has won all seven games. The Trojans are 3-1 when playing the Lady Mavs in Little Rock, but are 3-0 when playing at the Jack Stephens Center. The past four games have been decided by 10 points or less while just two games in the entire history of the series have been decided by more than 10 points.
 
UTA is 2-2 to begin Sun Belt play. Last weekend, the Lady Mavs defeated Troy by 19 before taking a 13-point loss to South Alabama. In the first weekend of Sun Belt action, UTA lost the opener at Coastal Carolina by 13 and squeaked by with a four-point win at Appalachian State.
