BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Three top-10 program times highlighted Little Rock's women's indoor track and field meet at the Samford Open on Friday and Saturday at the Birmingham Crossplex.

In the prelims of the 60-meter dash,
Christina Nickerson placed 13th with a time of 7.97 — the fifth-best time in program history and .03 seconds faster than her previous best.
Brandi Allen's time of 8.03 was the eighth-fastest in school history.
Brittney Anderson also had a top-10 time in program history as she finished with 8.10.

On Friday night, Nickerson was the Trojans' top finisher in the 200-meter dash as she placed 11th with a time of 25.94.

The action picked back up on Saturday where the majority of the events took place. In the women's long jump,
Nicole Edison took third with a distance of 5.09 meters.
Tyra Gillam finished with a distance of 4.44 meters.

In the 400-meter dash,
Jessica Gray took seventh with a time of 59.11.
Ka Neisha Jackson also put in a top-10 time of 59.30 and took ninth.
Helensia Green finished 11th with a time of 59.34.

Vianney Sanchez was Little Rock's top finisher in the 3000-meter run as she finished 14th with a time of 10:53.97.
Hunter Paul and
Hannah Manning finished with times of 11:05.73 and 11:13.11, respectively.

TeeTee Scott finished 10th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:23.10 while
Akeia Joyner finished with 2:39.28.

Kim Boni took 32nd in the one-mile run with a time of 6:01.15

Little Rock took fourth in the 4 x 400-meter relay as they finished with a time of 4:00.05.

The Trojans will return to action at the A-State Invitational & Multis on Friday and Saturday in Jonesboro.
