JONESBORO, Ark. – An all-time top-10 performance was recorded by Little Rock's men's indoor track and field squad in the first day of the A-State Invitational & Multis on Friday at First National Bank Arena.

Through four events of the heptathlon,
Max Holzmueller placed fifth with a score of 2,463 points. His shot put distance of 11.26 meters (36' 11.5") ranked as the fifth-longest in program history. His 55-meter time was 7.07 while his long jump came in at 6.22 meters (20' 5"). His finished the day with a distance of 1.75 meters (5' 8.75") in the high jump.

Charles Okeze placed third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.67 while
Travion Clark came in sixth with a time of 21.93.
Ch'kilas Calhoun and
Jalen Black finished 10th and 16th with times of 22.38 and 22.98, respectively.

The Trojans will finish up the meet on Saturday with the final three events of the heptathlon scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. Field events are set to begin at 11 a.m., and track prelims will start at 11:30 a.m.
