JONESBORO, Ark. – The Little Rock women's indoor track and field team tallied three event wins in addition to several top-10 program times in the final day of the A-State Invitational & Multis on Saturday at First National Bank Arena.

Little Rock chalked up a win in the 4 x 400-meter relay as the team

Helensia Green,
TeeTee Scott and
Ka Neisha Jackson finished with a time of 3:53.24 — seventh-fastest in program history. The group of
Brandi Allen,
Eboni Smith,
Christina Nickerson and
Brittany Pinder-Jones finished third with a time of 4:06.92.

Scott earned her first win as a Trojan in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.29 — one-tenth of a second faster than second place. Pinder-Jones took fourth in 59.42 seconds. Nickerson was the third Trojan to finish in the top 10 as she came in at 1:00.72.
Dasia Harris and
Akeia Joyner placed 11th and 13th with times of 1:03.65 and 1:04.73, respectively.

Freshman
Vianney Sanchez earned her first collegiate win in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:43.99.
Hunter Paul took second with a time of 18:44.74 while
Hannah Manning came in fifth at 19:38.66.

In the prelims of the 55-meter dash, Green finished seventh and qualified for the finals with a time of 7.39 — the eighth-fastest time in program history. In the finals, Green finished seventh with a time of 7.40.

After winning the 3,000-meter run on Friday,
Shanieke Watson placed second in the one-mile run with a time of 4:59.75 — ninth-fastest in program history.

With a very successful weekend in the books, Little Rock will now travel to Birmingham, Alabama, for the South Alabama Invitational on Feb. 4 at the Birmingham Crossplex.
