Little Rock Earns Coaches Poll Votes for Second Week

Full USA Today Coaches Poll

LITTLE ROCK – For the second consecutive week, Little Rock women's basketball received votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The Trojans received three points in this week's poll — the 35th-most points of the listed teams and up from two points in last week's poll.

Little Rock was selected as the No. 14 seed in Monday's NCAA Selection Show and was tabbed to face No. 3 seed Florida State in the first round of action on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. (CT) in Tallahassee. This will be Little Rock's fifth NCAA Tournament in the last nine years.

The Trojans' NCAA bid came on the heels of defeating Texas State to win the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship for the fourth time in program history. Before Texas State, Little Rock had to outperform Appalachian State and Troy in the quarterfinals and semifinals of the Sun Belt Championship.

Little Rock is 23-9 this season after finishing conference play with a 17-1 record for the second consecutive season and winning the Sun Belt Regular Season Championship. This is the Trojans' 11th 20-win season in the past 12 years.
