MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Little Rock women's outdoor track and field team began its 2018 season at the Rhodes Invitational this weekend.

TeeTee Scott finished second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.71.
Akeia Joyner finished 13th with a time of 1:01.85.

Shanieke Watson placed fourth in the 5,000-meter with a time of 17:30.30 — the seventh-fastest time in program history.
Hunter Paul placed 11th with a time of 17:56.99 to earn the 11th-fastest time in school history.
Vianney Sanchez took 33rd with a time of 18:52.28 while
Hannah Manning took 35th in 18:56.47.

Watson took second in the one-mile run with a time of 5:05.39. Paul was 31st with a time of 5:39.20.

Pinder-Jones took fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.04 and missed the school's top-10 by just .01 of a second.
Helensia Green was eighth with a time of 25.863.
Dasia Harris finished 18th with a time of 26.27 while Anderson took 20th in 26.33 seconds.
Eboni Smith was 26th with a time of 26.68.

Ka'Neisha Jackson took fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.93 — the sixth-fastest time in program history.

Brittany Pinder-Jones came in fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.221 while teammate
Brandi Allen took seventh with a time of 12.27. Pinder-Jones time was the ninth-fastest in program history.
Brittney Anderson took 21st with a time of 12.682 while teammates
Nicole Edison and
Helensia Green took 25th and 27th with times of 12.793 and 12.81.

The team of Allen, Harris, Smith and Pinder-Jones placed second in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:54.12.

Edison was fifth in the long jump as she came in with a mark of 5.21 meters. In the triple jump,
Tyra Gillam placed eighth with a time of 10.17 meters.

Little Rock will compete again next weekend in the Victor Lopez Classic in Houston and in the Harding Invitational in Searcy.
