Shanieke Watson earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors for their performances at the 2018 Sun Belt Indoor Championships, the league announced on Friday.

Watson earned All-Sun Belt First Team honors after winning the women's 800-meter championship. Watson became the first Trojan to win the 800-meter championship since Leah Thorvilson in 2003 as she came in with a time of 2:12.11. Watson was the sixth different Trojan to win the event in program history. Watson was the first Trojan since Petre Kindlund in 2006 to earn All-Sun Belt honors in the 800. She's also the first female Trojan to earn All-Sun Belt First Team honors since Noora Wallenius in 2016.

Okeze earned All-Sun Belt Third Team honors after finishing third in the men's 200-meter championship with a time of 21.37. Okeze is the first male Trojan to earn All-Sun Belt honors since John Vodacek in 2015 and is the first to earn All-Sun Belt honors for the 200 since Demond Burns in 2011.
