LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock's men's outdoor track and field squad split up for this weekend's competitions at Rice's Victor Lopez Classic in Houston and the Harding Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

Charles Okeze placed second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10:51 — the eighth-best mark in program history.
Ch'kilas Calhoun took 17th in 11.07 seconds — .02 seconds off his personal best.
Keshawn Andrews finished 23rd in 11.24 seconds.

Okeze finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.02 to earn the sixth-best time in program history.
Jalen Black was 21st in 22.44 seconds.

Black finished ninth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.42.
Â
Jaelon Gossett took 10th in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.53. He went on to take 10th once again in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 57.89.

Noah Smith was 13th in the 800 meter with a time of 1:56.47, and Garret Rokas was 28th in 2:00.69.

The team of
Travion Clark, Okeze, Calhoun and Andrews took second in the 4x100-meter relay as they finished with a time of 40.53 — the third-best time in program history. The squad improved upon last weekend's time by .19 seconds.

Overall, Little Rock finished the meet in fourth with 16 points.

Nghia Dinh won the triple jump with a mark of 13.71 meters for a new personal best.
Â
Emmanuel Olie placed second in the 200 meter with a time of 22.13. He then placed fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.98.

Imad Amenzou took fourth in the 800 meter with a time of 2:00.29 while
Hunter Tucker took 12th with a time of 2:04.98.

In the 1500 meter, Amenzou was fifth with a time of 4:06.32 — 0.32 seconds off his personal best.
Emilio Medina finished right behind Amenzou in fifth in 4:08.56.
Jarred O'Connor took 11th in 4:16.46, and
Hunter Tucker had a time of 4:22.82 to finish 15th.

Max Holzmueller was 11th in the discus with a mark of 30.57 meters — the fifth-best mark in program history.

Little Rock will now head to the Ole Miss Classic in Oxford, Mississippi on Saturday.
