OXFORD, Miss. – Little Rock's men's track and field team tallied a handful of top-10 program times at the Ole Miss Classic on Saturday.

Reigning Sun Belt Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
Charles Okeze placed second in the 100 meter with a time of 10.51 to tie his own personal record.
Ch'kilas Calhoun took ninth with a time of 10.83 while
Emmanuel Olie was 12th with a time of 10.91.

Okeze added another second-place finish in the 200 meter with a time of 20.99 — the fastest time in the Sun Belt, 11th-fastest in the NCAA West Region and 25th-fastest in the nation. He also beat his own personal record by .03 seconds. Calhoun and Olie were also in the event and took ninth and 12th with times of 22.14 and 22.58, respectively.

Jalen Black placed third in the 400 meter with a time of 48.79 — the ninth-fastest time in program history and 11th-fastest in the Sun Belt this season.

Black, Okeze, Calhoun and
Travion Clark finished third in the 4x400 relay as they came in with a time of 3:16.35 — fifth-fastest in the Sun Belt this season.

In the 400-meter hurdles,
Jaelon Gossett was eighth in 57.71 seconds — tying Michael Proctor for the ninth-fastest time in program history while improving his time by .02 seconds.

Nghia Dinh was ninth in the triple jump as he put up a mark of 13.27 meters (43' 6.5").

Max Holzmueller put up a mark of 44.40 meters (145' 8") in the javelin to finish third.

Noah Smith took 12th in the 800 meter with a time of 1:56.61.
Imad Amenzou was 17th with a time of 1:58.08.
Hunter Tucker and
Garrett Rokas were 22nd and 23rd with times of 2:00.59 and 2:01.51, respectively.

Emilio Medina was 20th in the 1500 meter with a time of 4:07.41.
Rogelio Araiza finished 25th in 4:11.63, and
Jarred O'Connor was 29th in 4:17.10.

The Trojans will return to action at the Little Rock Open on Friday at the Coleman Sports and Recreation Complex.
